These are just a few recent pictures. Monday I have to go take Kollen to a special ear doctor to determine if he needs tubes or not. He's had to switch antibiotics 4 times because he got immune to them. Whats funny is I remember taking every single one of those medicines when I was little because I was the same way. I had to constantly switch antibiotics as well. Hopefully he wont have to get tubes but if he does, at least it will help. He's so used to getting medicine everyday that he's learned to pinch his lips shut haha. We are just so in love with this little boy. He seriously is the biggest joy in our life and we are so blessed to have him. I'm really loving this age too. He's just so happy all the time and smiles constantly. I'm trying to get him to practice sitting up since he's almost at that stage. Austen and I can't believe how big he is getting. Time is just going by way too fast.

Kollen's 1st Halloween

Yesterday was Kollen's first Halloween. Though he really didnt know what was going on we still had fun. We dressed him up as a little giraffe. I painted his nose black but he ended up rubbing it off shortly after I put it on. We went around trick or treating with most of Austen's siblings and even took a little bucket for Kollen to get some candy....its a good excuse for us to get candy too right?! We didnt go out for too long but thank goodness the weather was nice!! We were so worried the weather was going to be all nasty since just a few days before it was blizzarding. Most of it melted though so I was happy. I seriously can't believe Halloween is over. Thanksgiving is going to be here in no time!

Last Friday I went with my husband's family to the pumpkin patch. There wasnt a whole lot to pick from since Halloween was only a week away but luckily we still found some. Kollen loved looking at all the pumpkins. I cant believe its already Halloween!! Where is time going?? Yesterday it snowed at least 4 inches here at the lake. Brain head got about 30 inches!!!

My little Kollen has now the 3rd earache in about a months time!! The doctor said if it keeps up like this he's going to have to get tubes in his ears! My poor boy is following in his mommy's footsteps, but not in a good way. I had tubes twice in my ears when I was 6 months old. On top of that my son is cutting his SEVENTH TOOTH!!!!!!! what the heck?? He just turned 5 months old! This kid just hasnt got a break yet. The doctor says it will stop hear shortly. He's probably gonna have a full on set of teeth by the time he's 1.

Saturday Austen's family got some pictures taken. We were finally all together so my mother in law arranged for some pictures to be taken. It was a little difficult trying to get such a big group to take a good picture but,when isnt it when theres a lot of people. My husband has such a great family. I'm so grateful to be married into such a big and fun family. Kollen is going to have so much fun growing up with all those aunts and uncles of his. I love you guys!

A few weeks ago we got family pictures. I'm wanted to get some while Kollen was still young. I want to get more maybe before christmas or something. Especially since he's smiling all the time now. Kollen is getting his 2 top teeth now. So the poor boy hasn't been feeling good...again. He's such a sweetheart though. He's smiling and "talking" and making all sorts of noises. Its so funny. We are just so in love with him. He's such a blessing in our lives.
